About Blackwater Alert™ the Septic and Sewer Backup Alarm

Blackwater Alert™ was created as the solution to septic and sewer backup that destroys property.

Founded by Cliff Harper, a Geologist and former Principal Hydrogeologist of Harper Environmental Associates, Cliff sought to construct a system that would give property owners an urgent, audible alert of impending blackwater back up, enabling them to react swiftly, avoid dangers of harmful bacteria exposure, and minimize expensive cleanup costs. The device was built with both a 95-decibel alarm for alerts within the home or business and can be programmed with home security apps so that you receive an alert on your smart phone.

In 2018, Blackwater Alert™ received a utility patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Blackwater Alert™ was first designed and manufactured in 2017 in New England.

The Blackwater Alert™ Mission
